Which way? In or on?


Nathan: Hey Siva, haven’t heard about that surprise thingy in a while, any updates?

Sivan: Sure, good things in the way!


Nathan: Oh, is something blocking?


Sivan: No, no. all well, why?


Nathan: Well, I was just worried if something is in the way.


Sivan: Is it to be worried if something is in the way?


Nathan: Okay, I get it. you meant “something’s on the way!”


Sivan: That’s right, but what’s the difference?


Nathan: When something is on the way, it means something is progressing, which is mostly a good thing. However, if something is in the way, that means, something is blocking the progress, hence not a good thing.


Sivan: Ah ok! Clear, you’re right, things are on the way.


Nathan: Good to know, I’m relieved now.


Sivan: Well, in a way, some things are in the way too, but sure enough, there should be a way out.


Nathan: You bet! Where there is a will, there’s a way!

Lata: I'm sorry I'm too happy.. can't see what you are pointing out Gita: alright, as you know, English is a phonetic language and the meaning changes with pronunciation, even if spelling is same. Ex. Read (present) vs Read (past) Similarly,  Content with a stress on the first syllable makes it a noun which would mean ingredients. Whereas,  content  with stress on the second syllable makes it an adjective which would mean "satisfied" content  - ' kaan -tent' - noun - ingredients content  - 'kun- tent ' - adjective - satisfied Now I assume your new job is about content writing, right?
